Hooks and eyes (metal components) are available in several finishes: colour-matched to the fabric, stainless steel, or with a gold-tone appearance.
Cutting of the hook and eye tapes depends on the selected fabric and is carried out using one of two processes: ultrasonic or cold cutting. Thanks to our dyeing expertise, every detail can be perfectly matched.
Our Sweetedge range of hook and eye closures delivers premium comfort and strength. Its soft edges ensure enhanced comfort and elevate the perceived quality of the garment. This system maintains the dimensions of traditional hook and eye closures, making it easy to integrate into existing production lines.
We can provide samples to give you a tangible understanding of the product and allow testing prior to production.
We also collaborate with designers looking to test and develop new sizes. Our workshop can quickly adjust the necessary parameters to deliver results that meet expectations.
CONTINUOUS HOOKS AND EYES TAPE
Hook and eye closures are also available in continuous tape form. You can select the number of lines and the spacing between rows of metal elements. Operators can cut the required widths directly in the workshop, making this a highly flexible solution.
The tapes are supplied on reels for easy handling, transport, and consistent unwinding during production.
The materials used are identical to those in our standard hook and eye closures, ensuring the same level of strength, softness, and long-term stability. Continuous hook and eye tapes can also be dyed to suit your colour requirements.
A cotton version is available depending on your needs.
WIRE CASING
Wire casing is essential to the comfort and durability of underwired bras. It protects the fabric, enhances comfort, and reduces the risk of wire perforation.
Our range includes multiple widths, various knit constructions, and different reinforcement options. Each version is engineered to withstand assembly stresses, garment tension, and repeated wear. Stability is a key performance criterion, ensuring a perfect fit over time.
We also offer an exclusive, patented technical solution: Easytube. This wire casing is renowned for its exceptional comfort and outstanding resistance to perforation, achieved through an innovative internal structure. Assembly is simplified, as the wire can be inserted from a single direction, reducing handling errors and improving efficiency in garment production workshops.
All our wire casing options can be dyed to meet brand requirements, ensuring perfect coordination between accessories and main fabrics.
STRAIGHT CUT BINDING
Straight cut binding plays a fundamental role in the structure of lingerie and technical garments, providing stability, support, and consistency in key areas. It consists of fabric strips cut to the required width from a full roll; these strips are referred to as straight cut binding.
We offer two main types:
- Flat straight cut binding
- Folded straight cut binding: two, three, or four overlapping folds
Each type is available in multiple widths and knit constructions to suit a wide range of applications. We also offer charmeuse knit binding, appreciated for its fine appearance and soft handle. The choice depends on the required level of support, the base fabric, and the final assembly method.
All straight cut bindings can be dyed to match your collections. Products are supplied in shrink-wrapped rolls for easy handling, transport, and smooth unwinding in the workshop.
Straight cut binding can be used:
- as the outer knit or reinforcement for wire casing
- as seam covering
- for various applications in technical garments
To improve traceability in storage areas, bundles can be individually identified. Each roll can be labelled with customised information such as colour, reference number, or length, along with a barcode.
FABRICS
We also offer a selection of fabrics for the manufacture of textile accessories. These fabrics are selected for their stability, fineness and ability to withstand the stresses of assembly. Instead of cutting strips of fabric, we deliver a full-width roll.
Fabrics can be dyed in our workshop to match the collection perfectly. We control each material in accordance with precise criteria to guarantee complete compatibility with our processes and with our customers’ equipment.
POPPER BUTTON FASTENING TAPE
Popper button fastening tape is a versatile accessory used across various textile applications. It provides a simple, practical, and durable fastening solution, suitable for lingerie, ready-to-wear, and garments requiring fast handling.
We offer a range of spacing options to meet the most common requirements. The tape is designed to withstand repeated use while maintaining a clean and uniform appearance.
BRA EXTENSIONS
Bra extensions allow for easy adjustment of bra width and improved wearer comfort. They are particularly useful when fit adjustments are needed without redesigning the garment.
Our range covers all standard hook and eye closure types, with multiple widths and heights available. Extensions can be customised in material, colour, and metal finish, ensuring perfect consistency with the collection. They are used both during product development and as a final consumer solution.
RECYCL ING AND GRS CERTIFICATION
Odea is committed to an environmentally responsible approach and incorporates recycled materials into its products. Our GRS certification guarantees the use of certified recycled fibres and compliance with strict standards for traceability, environmental impact, and social responsibility.
Several products are available in recycled versions, including hook and eye closures, wire casing, straight cut binding, extensions, and fabrics. This enables us to support brands in developing more sustainable collections.
Our dyeing and slitting services are fully compatible with GRS-certified materials. We can dye recycled fabrics and provide technical slitting solutions to meet your specifications, ensuring full consistency across recycled collections
